During Your Stay
Reserved for staying guests, the Tea Lounge looks out toward the sweeping mountains of Hakone's outer rim.
Higashi dry sweets shaped by the aesthetics of wagashi and teas selected from across Japan are available for you to enjoy throughout your stay.

Higashi, Small Works of Art
Flowers and seasonal landscapes appear in higashi like miniature works of art. Spring buds, late-autumn leaves, and other scenes of Japan are captured in a single small sweet.
A delicate texture dissolves on the tongue to reveal the depth of each ingredient. Examples include the rakugan Sunset, the unpei sweet Cool Breeze, and the amber kohakuto Ripples.

Teas Selected from Across Japan
We source teas from throughout Japan to bring out the subtle character of each higashi. Their gentle sweetness meets the fresh astringency of tea, while crisp, richly flavored sweets pair beautifully with fragrant, clean-finishing infusions. Settle into a relaxed tea time that speaks to every sense.

Bar Time
As night falls, the Tea Lounge becomes a bar wrapped in Japanese atmosphere. Settle into an evening found only at KÚON Hakone Gora.
Tea cocktails that reveal new dimensions of the leaf, together with a final wagashi for the day, lend grace to a quiet evening alone or time shared with someone close. The menu includes a deep-steamed tea infusion with vodka and lime; a gyokuro cocktail made with gyokuro liqueur; and the wagashi Summer Dream, milk kuzuneri served with a honey-lemon sauce. Beer, gin, whisky, and non-alcoholic cocktails are also available.
Savor the lingering resonance of this special night as it deepens.
